February 5th, 2007
Admission Discount Available
MEDIA EVENT-PHOTO OPPORTUNITY: RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL COSTUMED CHARACTERS GREET BCT RIDERS ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 7-9 A.M.
Broward County Transit (BCT) passengers can take advantage of a special $3 discount off the adult price of admission to the Florida Renaissance Festival, scheduled during five consecutive weekends, February 10 to March 11, at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach.
For the third consecutive year, promotional tear-off discount coupons are available on board all BCT buses so riders can receive a discounted rate at the admissions gate for the Renaissance Festival. The coupons must be presented when purchasing admission tickets at the gate. Only one coupon per adult will be accepted.
As a special attraction, Renaissance Festival costumed peasants, wenches, nobles, and other characters will greet transit riders at Broward Central Terminal on Thursday, February 15, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Broward Central Terminal, 101 N.W. First Avenue in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Broward County Transit’s Route #14 travels to the festival, and a free shuttle bus will be available at the exit gate to take riders to the park’s admission gate.
Broward County Transit will have a transit booth at the Renaissance Festival on February 25, on Corporate Courtyard. Stop by and receive transit information and BCT promotional items.
