Broward County Commission Libraries Division Announces Library Seeks Customer Feedback for New Web Portal
August 15th, 2007
Broward County Library wants to know what their library customers want in a new web page focusing on the library’s online services and special features. Customers are being asked to select a new name and logo for this new web page, as well as choose features for the content such as genealogy, how to write a great resume, photo tips, and crafts.
This is a new customer-driven approach to offer customers even more of what they want on the library’s website. In addition to the current selection on the library’s website, this new portal will have more in-depth features for customers. A potential genealogy page would explain genealogy, help customers get started, and link to resources available in the library.
The survey can be found on page 2 of the July issue of the library’s monthly magazine, Bookings, in the July E-Newsletter, and on the library’s website, www.broward.org/library.
Customers can select a name/logo for this new web page and submit their ideas via four easy ways:
E-Mail: marketing AT browardlibrary.org
Fax: 954-357-5548
Mail: Marketing Services, Broward County Library,100 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301
In-Person: Customers can drop-off their suggestions to any staff member at any Broward County Library
The collection period for the surveys ends on Friday, August 31, 2007. The new web page will be announced later this year and will include an interactive survey to continue requesting customer feedback and interests.
